Our Mission
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.
History
Delta Sigma Pi was founded in 1907 at New York University: School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance by Harold Valentine Jacobs, Alexander Frank Makay, Alfred Moysello and Henry Albert Tienken. Today, more than 260 chapters and nearly 220,000 members support the goals and ideals of the Fraternity.

The Epsilon Theta Chapter was founded at California State University Chico on December 3rd 1960. Since its inception the Epsilon Theta Chapter has Initiated 1114 members into their Brotherhood and have seen over 1,000 graduating seniors. We are the largest student organization housed under the college of business and are comprised solely of Business and Economics majors.
Our chapter has a vast number of resources on campus utilizing 20 faculty / honorary initiates, including the Dean of the College of business himself, Dr. Willie Hopkins. We seek out and find faculty of the highest caliber and honor them with the gift of our brotherhood, they are initiated just as any other members are. However, what makes us very unique is that we are still 100% student run.
