Do you have what it takes?

Membership in Delta Sigma Pi is not an easy thing to achieve, nor is it an easy thing to maintain. We expect each Brother to make a lifelong commitment to the fraternity which requires a lot of hard work and sacrifice. However, there are few investments with a return as great or far-reaching as being a Brother in our chapter.

I invite you to experience all that our Brotherhood has to offer.

Step 1: Open recruitment

• Attend at least one informational meeting

• Attend at least one social event.

• Fill out an application.

Applications are available at our listed events and at our information/recruiting table (during the first three weeks of the semester) or if requested via Email.As always, you can find us in front of Glenn Hall with more information.

Applicants must:

* be a declared Business, or Economics Major

* have an overall GPA of at least 2.7

* have completed at least 12 semester units of college level work

* have a very minimum of 2 semesters before graduation

Step 2: Closed recruitment

Step 3: Internship

After a highly selective process, individuals chosen out of the closed rush pool of candidates will be given a bid to pledge Delta Sigma Pi. Our pledge program is the most rigorous process on campus focused on developing our pledges professionally, intellectually, and socially, and we expect our interns to place Delta Sigma Pi as their highest priority after academics. There will be no hazing or alcohol involved in the pledge program

How many times can I rush?

You can rush as many times as you'd like. We encourage those who are interested in being a part of our fraternity to rush as often as possible to learn more about the Brotherhood and to show us your continued interest by meeting and forming relationships with us.

What's the difference between a social fraternity/sorority and a business fraternity?

While both social fraternities/sororities and business fraternities provide a community and a family during your college experience, a business fraternity has an additional focus on professional development. Delta Sigma Pi's three pillars are professional, social, and community service, and we strive to bring the best of all three worlds.

What does it mean to be a co-ed fraternity?

Though we're called a fraternity and our members are called Brothers, we have a somewhat equal distribution of both males and females.

How many people are given bids every semester?

Bids are given to those that we deem to be an excellent fit for the Brotherhood, and vice versa. There is no minimum or maximum amount of bids, as the decision is made on a person by person basis.

How much are dues?

Dues for each Brother are entirely dependent on the needs of the fraternity as decided by a Brotherhood consensus. However, they are substantially lower than social fraternity/sorority dues, at an average of $100 per semester.

If I join a business fraternity, can I still join a social fraternity or sorority?

Yes, you can definitely still join a social fraternity or sorority after joining Delta Sigma Pi. Many of our Brothers are also involved in social fraternities and sororities on campus.
